You go on to ask,
>>Also if you have went forward and been forgiven of adultery, but you
>>continue to do it.  Are you still forgiven?

The issue is not whether God forgives sin, He does (1 Cor. 6:9-11).  God
forgives every sin of which a man repents (2 Cor. 7:9-10; Acts 8:22; 1 Jno.
1:9).  The issue here is one of repentance.  If one says he repents of sin
(adultery), but he continues to do it, has he truly repented?  No, he has
not.  Repentance is more than being sorry for one's sin.  It is produced by
godly sorrow, and results in a changed way of life in reference to one's
sin.  In other words, when we repent of sin we determine in our heart not to
sin any longer!  Please read Acts 26:20 and Revelation 9:20-21 to see that
works worthy of repentance are those which stop sinning.

I hope this is of help to you as you study God's word.

Sincerely,
Joe Price
