Your Bible question was:

>Do any other religions or faiths such as the Jewish faith or the muslim faith hold any water if they are apart from Christ?

The Bible teaches that salvation is only found in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). Jesus Himself said that "no one comes to the Father except through Me" (Jno. 14:6). So, neither the Jewish, the Muslim nor any other faith will direct one into the eternal presence of God - only the gospel of Jesus Christ (Rom. 1:16-17).

Jesus also said that unless one believes in Him as the Son of God he will die in his sins (Jno. 8:21-24). The Jewish faith rejects Jesus as the Son of God (Jno. 10:30-39). The Muslim faith rejects Jesus as the Son of God. Therefore, one cannot believe Jesus and these faiths at the same time - they are incompatible.

The Bible establishes Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah of Old Testament prophecy and the only One in who salvation is found (Acts 2:22-41). This is the "one" faith we must believe and obey (Eph. 4:5; Jude 3).

Thank you again for your good Bible question, and may God bless you as you continue your study of His word.

Sincerely,

Joe Price
